Marie-Julie Gagnon

Travel writer, reporter

“I am inviting you to share something of your life for one day, September 10th, using your phone or any device that is convenient for you, and you can share this online at canadainaday.ca.”

Author, columnist and blogger, Marie-Julie Gagnon, describes herself as an ‘exploratory’. Addicted to social media (@technomade on Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat and montaxibusse on Facebook) she has collaborated on multiple media for over 20 years. She has also kept an active blog – Taxi-Brousse (taxibrousse.ca) since 2008. Marie-Julie has published eight books including Le voyage pour les files qui not peur de tout (Michel Lafon editions’ 2015) and is a journalist for the website, Avenues.ca, the show Salut, Bonjour! Week-end on TVA and Les Eclaireurs on Radio-Canada Premiere. Some travel around the world to discover, but for Marie-Julie, it’s to feel (and secondarily, to taste, all the chocolate desserts and sweets that she sees all along the way).
